The ceramic bezel is the face of a modern Rolex sports watch. It is also the hardest part to replicate correctly. Get the shade of green wrong on a Submariner, or the red/blue transition wrong on a GMT-Master II, and the entire watch instantly looks “off.”

The Color Science: Sintered at 1,500°C
Achieving the specific, rich tone of genuine Rolex ceramic is notoriously difficult.
- The Process: Our bezels start as ultra-fine zirconium dioxide powder. They are molded under high pressure and then sintered (baked) in industrial furnaces at extreme temperatures exceeding 1,500°C.
- The Result: This process hardens the ceramic to be virtually scratch-proof (second only to diamond) and locks in the color permanently. Whether it’s the deep “Starbucks Green” or the complex, sharp transition of the “Pepsi Blue/Red,” the color you see today will be the same in ten years. It will never fade under the sun.
Platinum & Gold Coated Markers: No More “Grey Paint”
The biggest giveaway on mid-tier replicas is the bezel numerals. On cheaper watches, these are filled with simple white paint that turns dark, grey, or yellowish after a few months of exposure to sweat and dirt.
Victory Factory uses the genuine method:
- Deep Engraving: The numerals and indices are engraved deep into the ceramic surface with precision lasers, creating sharp, three-dimensional depth.
- PVD Precious Metal Coating: Instead of paint, we use Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) to coat the inside of the engravings with real metal.
- For steel models (e.g., Submariner Date), we use Real Platinum PVD.
- For gold models (e.g., GMT-Master II Rootbeer), we use 18K Gold PVD.
- The Promise: The markers remain bright, reflective, and sharp forever. They will not turn grey.
